Arthur F. (Mose) Beideman, Sr., 92 of Egg Harbor Township passed away on Friday “with his boots on” at home. He was born in Wilmington, DE, the oldest of 10. Mose worked in the horse racing industry all his life, first as a jockey, then exerciser, and retired as the parking lot manager for the three New Jersey race tracks. He was a veteran of WWII from 1943-1945. Mose received recognition for being a member of the laborers union for 50 years. His true love besides his wife Ginny, was hunting, trapping and spending time in the woods. He was also an avid gardener and loved farming.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ginny, in 2006 after celebrating 63 years of marriage. Mose is survived by his devoted son, Arthur F. (Rusty) Beideman, Jr. and his wife Robbin (Early), and one brother, Andrew, and his wife, Gloria of Wilmington, DE.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 19 from 6-8 PM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, in Northfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20 at 11AM at Greentree Church, 125 Schoolhouse Road, Egg Harbor Township, where friends may call from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. Arrangements entrusted to and condolences for the family may be left at Adams-Perfect.com
