Farinelli, Remo G., 86 of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was born on October 13, 1926 in the Province of Abbruzzi, Italy and came to America at the age of 17 months. A naturalized citizen of the United States, he served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. Remo was a graduate of Atlantic City High School, Pennsylvania Military College, and University of Pennsylvania. He was a registered professional engineer and professional planner in the state of New Jersey. He retired from the Atlantic City Electric Co. in 1994 after 42 years, and continued to work for A.W. Ponzio Co. full time as the major engineer. He was extremely proud of having his book, “Disgrazia”, published. Remo was predeceased by his wife, Annette Da Grosa Farinelli, and his wife Dorothy Blythe Price Farinelli. He was also predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Farinelli Di Cosmo; and his brother, Rudy Farinelli. He is survived by his son, Remo G. Farinelli, Jr., his wife, Kimberley, and granddaughter Leolina; his daughter, Antoinette Cincotta and her husband, Joseph; his son, Anthony Farinelli, his wife, Denise, and grandson Sebastian; step-daughter Jodi Dix, and grandchildren Matthew, Ryan, Rachael, and James; great grandchildren Dakoda and Cheyenne; his sister, Nona Farinelli Dolceamore and her husband, Edward; nephew Stephen Symnoski; his dear friend, Lorraine Craven; and his loving, devoted caretaker, Mercy Bonner. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 7:00pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until the time of the service.
