Jordan, Deacon John F., Sr., 90 of Pleasantville, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Born in Atlantic City, he attended Atlantic City High School and Atlantic City School of Technology. He was employed by General Merchandise, Starkman Tobacco Company, Howard Johnson, and Caesar’s Hotel and Casino. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a Deacon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Ida Jordan; and his son, Conrad K. Jordan. John “Jack” is survived by his daughter, Tanya K. Kearney (Reggie Diggs) of Virginia Beach; his son, John Jordan, Jr. (Linda Brown); his brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Bonnie Jordan; his sister, Faye Woods; his best friend, Mae Jordan; grandchildren: Tony Redd, Sean Corbin, Danielle Kearney, Esq., and Chauncey Kearney, Jr.; great grandchildren Tony, Jr. and Eva Marie; step-children: Margo, Marlene, Donald, Scott, Diane, Joe, and Robin; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, significant family and friends.
