CLARY, MAURINE N. 90 – of No.Cape May, passed away at Victoria Commons
Assisted Living Center on Nov. 18.

She was born and raised in Rutland, VT to Beulah and Ernest Nichols. Maurine
proudly served in the Waves during WWII as a secretary. After raising her 3
children in New England, she enjoyed traveling on business trips all over
the world with her husband, skiing at their chalet on Loon Mt., and golfing
in Florida. She loved to cook, read, and care for her grandchildren. She
dearly loved her family and friends. Everyone who knew her loved her
positive attitude and optimistic outlook, always putting others’ needs
before her own. She brought joy to so many others with her contagious smile.

She is predeceased by her first husband, Jay Pape, and her younger brother,
Robert. She is also predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth and by
their son, Kenneth Arthur, Jr.

Maurine is survived by her loving children Robert (Linda) of No. Easton, MA
and Patricia Steinberg (Kenneth) of Longport. Nana will be very sadly
missed by her grandchildren, Brent (Rebecca) and Jason Clary, Michelle and
Jeff Steinberg and also by her great grandsons, Shawn and Griffin Clary. She
was a member of Central Methodist Church in Linwood. A viewing will be held
at the church on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 10:30 am to the time of service at 11:00 am at
the church. A graveside service of committal will be held at the Melrose
Cemetery 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton, MA on Saturday Nov. 23, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or a charity
of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to Adams Perfect in Northfield where written condolences may be
