Queenie Walker

Mrs. Queenie E. Walker was born October 5, 1953 in Bertice County, North Carolina to the late Benjamin and Lucinda Bazemore. She quietly departed this life on Tuesday December 31, 2013 at her home with her loving husband caretaker, Clarence Bubby Walker by her side.

During her early childhood she attended school in North Carolina. The family relocated to New Jersey. She continued her education in the Atlantic City Public Schools, graduating from Atlantic City High School, class of 1972.

Queenie worked at the Peanut World on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. She also worked for Atlantic City Police Department for about two years. She was a member of the first graduating class Atlantic City Police Department Traffic Control Officer. She was last employed by Bally’s Park Place Casino, in Fire Command for twenty-seven years. She was name employee of the month on several occasions. The highlight of her career was when she was chosen 2002 Employee of the Year

She has two children Dexter Harris and Shantel Stanley; one step- daughter Tamia Walker.

She was predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Lucinda Bazemore, Brother Jessie Bazemore. She leaves to cherish her memory forever: her loving husband of thirty-five years Clarence Bubby Walker of Mays Landing, NJ, Son Dexter Harris of GA, Daughter Shantel Stanely of Pleasantville, NJ, her and step daughter Tamia Walker of Germantown, MD, Brother Benjamin Bazemore ( Anna) of Galloway, NJ, Sisters: Mary Dobson of Willingboro, NJ, Betty Alexander (Ernie) and Roxanna Bazemore of Galloway, NJ, four grandchildren host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Thanks to Doctors: Richard Mingione, MD, Norman Chazin, MD, Richard Hunter, MD and their staff. A Very Special Thanks to John & Tammy Jiacopello, Gerald & Ruth Mc Nelly and Timber Glenn Neighbors for your kindheartedness.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Friday January 10, 2014, St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 1709 Arctic Avenue, New Jersey. Burial private. Arrangements entrusted to Adam’s Perfect Funeral Home condolences may be left for the family at adams-perfect.com
