Pagano, Thomas A. of Egg Harbor Township passed away on June 6, 2014 at the age of 88. Born and raised in Bargaintown, he was a lifelong resident. A World War II veteran, he served in the US Navy Amphibious Forces. He received the Philippine Liberation Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Medal including the invasions of Leyte, Luzon and Okinawa, the American Theatre Medal and the Victory Medal. He worked as an electrician, guard and eventually as an electronic technician for the FAA at the Pomona NAFEC facility until retiring from the FAA Technical Center. He grew up on his parents farm and helped run the family farm most of his adult life including operating Pagano’s Farm Market and Pagano’s Christmas Tree Farm after giving up vegetable farming. He loved playing and practicing the guitar. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian. He is survived by his six children: Joseph (Linda), Thomas (Johanna), Nancy, Rita, Robert and Lisa Crouse (Ed); twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and his first cousins; Frank and Nate Galletta. Private services will be held at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, Northfield, NJ. Burial will be in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
