Reynolds, John E., 76, of Galloway Twp, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012. Born and raised in Newark, and resided in Bricktown for 35 years, before moving to Galloway, in 1996. He graduated from Eastside High School in 1954. He honorably served in the US Navy. John was a New Jersey State Trooper for 33 years, retiring as a Captain, in 1991. He enjoyed playing golf and going to the casino. John adored his loving wife Georgianna, and very proud of his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Luke & Anna Reynolds, and his brother Martin Reynolds. John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Georgianna; daughters Patricia Ann Cristinziani (Joseph), Hope Ann Medel, Kim Ann Polacco (Matthew), and Georgianna Maculuso (Mario); four grandchildren, Ashlee, Christopher, Kyle, and Jack; and his brother Luke Reynolds (Barbara).
A memorial service will be held at 10 am , on Monday, August 13th, at Ocean County Memorial Park 1722 Silverton Rd, in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory can be made to The Former New Jersey Troopers Association 1675 Whitehouse-Mercerville Rd, Suite 103, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
