Sulzer, Elizabeth D., 84 of Linwood, died on August 17, 2012, at SMC. She was born in Lancaster, Pa., on Dec 22, 1927, the third and youngest daughter of Franklin Geary Derr and Francis Riehl Weaver. Beth attended Dickerson College before receiving the A.B. degree from Duke Univ., where she stayed to study law for two years.
With her surviving husband of 63 years, Richard, Beth lived in Washington, D.C., Durham, NC, Urbana, IL, and Framingham, Mass, before coming to Linwood, in 1963. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sisters: Helen Huegel of Pittsburgh and Pat Cooper of Lancaster, and her four children: John (Tayna) of Kansas City, Molly of Somers Point, Curt (Robin) of Linwood, and Rick (Taffy) of Eagle Harbor, and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
