Payne, Joseph “Fuzzy”, of Somers Point, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 17, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; two children, Joey (Sheila), and Heather (Brian); three brothers, William (Veronica), Pete, and John (Donna); nephews, Jeffrey and JJ; nieces, Teri and Tara; favorite cousins, Ralphie Parker, Ernest T. Bass, Edward Norton and Grover Dill. Fuzzy was a member of the Loyal Order of Raccoon Lodge, where he was appointed The Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler. In 2012 he retired from C.W. Griswold Inc., a world-renowned expert in exterior illumination. Everyone who knew Fuzzy, will miss his wit and humor. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
