Aspenberg, John A. (Jack), 87 of Mays Landing, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19th at home surrounded by his family. Born in Linwood, John was an area resident all of his life. He was a man of faith, who was very proud of his large family. John was an area builder. He built or renovated the many homes he lived in. He enjoyed watching the Eagles. John was a fan of all his children and grandchildren’s sports and activities. During his life, he went to countless area wrestling matches, football games and other activities. He also enjoyed taking his daily walks in Estell Manor Park. He is predeceased by his first wife, Nancy Mason Aspenberg to whom he was married 49 years. He is survived by his children: Jak (Karen), Guy (Patricia), Glenn (Catrina), Jay (Susan), Nancy (Paul) Mosetti, and Barry; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Barbara Ford Aspenberg and her children: Harry (Nancy), Diane, Barbara Ann (Robert), Kathryn, Mel (Julie), Sharon (Andrew); 12 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 from 10:30am until 12pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 290 Asbury Road, EHT. A service will follow at 12pm at the church. Burial will follow at the Asbury Cemetery, EHT. Donations can be made in John’s memory to the Asbury United Methodist Church. Condolences may be left for the family at: adams-perfect.com.
