Clemence (Miki) Murphy 92, of Northfield, passed away peacefully at home on February 26th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Peter W. Murphy. She was an active member of the Mother’s League of Northfield, and Girl Scout Leader. During her working years, she worked at House N Garden, Dr. Leo Barone, the Mainland Journal and retired at the age of 76 working for Dr. Alan Frankel. Her hobbies were reading, gardening, sewing, crocheting, but her ‘happy place’ was being at Seaview Harbor on her son and daughter-in-law’s boat in the summer, where she would go fishing or just lounge on the dock where she made many friends. She is survived by her children Patricia Hackett (Ed); Linda Bocelli (Mike) and Mike Murphy (Marie) Also surviving are her grandchilden: Edward Hackett (Fabiana); Karen Buza (Joe); Michael Bocelli (Kimberly) and Bonnie Bocelli; Great grandchilden: Eddie Hackett; Zackary Hackett; Dominic Manera; Abigail Hackett; Pamela Hackett; Joey Buza; Mikey Bocelli and Alexis Bocelli. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Holy Redeemer. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrow’s Church, Linwood on Tuesday, March 1st at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be private.
