Edward (Eddie) Bistyga, 86 The family of Edward Bistyga are saddened to announce the passing of their loving father on the morning of April 6th, 2016. Mr. Bistyga was called by our Lord to join his beloved and recently departed wife of 65 years, Helen (Vanasky). Mr. Bistyga was born on September 24th, 1929 in New Castle, Pa. Edward and his wife Helen had relocated from New Castle to Mays Landing, New Jersey in 1999. Edward is survived by his daughters Cynthia Henderson, Michelle Omer and his son Mark Bistyga, a sister, Mrs. Stella (Rudy) Bruno and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen, daughters Dianne Bistyga and Renee Ryzinski and his brother, Walter Bistyga of New Castle. Edward was a great NASCAR fan of Matt Kenseth and the late Dale Earnhardt and also the Pittsburgh Steelers. Eddie loved woodworking and was very proud of the many projects that he had completed throughout his life. Mr. Bistyga was also a United States Marine Corps veteran who proudly served during the time of the Korean War. A private service for Mr. Bistyga was held at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home in Northfield, New Jersey. The family of Edward Bistyga wish to express their everlasting sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the Veterans Memorial Home who treated our family with the utmost respect, dignity and love.
