Rinker, Richard “Ricky” 53, of Linwood, was born February 11, 1959 and he passed away unexpectedly and suddenly from his loving family and friends on Friday, October 5, 2012 at AtlantiCare in Galloway. He was a lifelong resident of Linwood and attended Linwood schools.

Through his early years he held various jobs. When casinos came to town, Ricky got right in on the action. He started as a craps dealer at the Brighton Casino. He moved onto work at the Claridge where he worked as a games supervisor. He left the casino industry to pursue work in the concrete business. He worked in that trade until his passing. In his free time, Ricky enjoyed helping others. When Ricky wasn’t doing that, outdoor activities was his passion. Ricky “LOVED” camping, tubing, canoeing, crabbing, fishing, playing horseshoes, the beach, boardwalk bike rides, four wheeling and barbequing for all. That was Ricky! He also was an avid fan of Philly teams.

Ricky cherished his time spent with family and was a devoted son, brother and uncle.

Ricky is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Wilma Rinker and his brother, Gregory. He is survived by his broken hearted brothers and sisters, that he left behind; Barbara Allen of EHT, Robert William (Kathy) Rinker of Agoura, CA., Dolores (Jerry) Crosson of EHT, Dennis Rinker of EHT, Debbie (Jim) Dreager of Northfield, Jeff (Nadine) Rinker of Northfield, Ronnie Rinker of Ventnor, Tammy Duberson of Mays Landing, Bonnie Duberson of Linwood, Kimberly (Christopher) Eichner of New York; and his fiancé Diana Ford and her three children, Caroline, Doug and Amanda of EHT, whom he loved as if they were his own. He will also be lovingly missed by his many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Ricky, you gave everyone all you had to give. However great or small, but most of all you gave us all of your love…that was the greatest gift of all. With tearful eyes and broken hearts we say, “Thanks Ricky! God Bless You!”

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 10-12pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, 1650 New Road in Northfield. A service will begin at 12pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Zion Cemetery in EHT.
