David Scott Transue, 29, of Galloway, died suddenly just after noon on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Dave is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife,Robert Dominique Transue (Perri), and his adoring sons, Ryan Hunter (age 11) and Logan Arthur (age 4). Dave is also survived by his “adoptive” parents, a.k.a. in-laws, Annamarie (Palmisano) & Lawrence Sesta, and David & Rosemarie (Schairer) Perri; his mother Sandra (Calkins) Transue; his grandparents, Ronald and Phyllis (Diorio) Palmisano, Rose Schairer, and Ann LaCoss; his brothers, Wayne Transue (wife Lynn), Greg Transue, and Keith Transue (wife Amy); also his brother-in-law (though Dave always considered him a brother), David Perri (wife Tammy). Dave is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a great-niece, a great-nephew, and countless friends, especially his very best friends that he considered to be brothers, Charles Wontroba, and Coyle. Words cannot begin to describe the love he felt for all of his family and friends, nor can it be expressed just how deeply we are all hurting by his far too short time with us. It must also be said that the world lost one of the greatest, most selfless men that day. Dave, our gentle giant with a huge heart, loved fishing, music, movies, and more than anything his family and friends, but none more so than his wife and children. Dave is preceded in death by his beloved father, Ralph A. Transue, and his adored grandfather, Charles A. Calkins. Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, NJ, where Dave and Dominique were married over five years ago. Family and friends will be received at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ, on Friday, December 28, 2012, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dave Transue Memorial Fund c/o Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, Inc, 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225, or directly to the fund at any TD Bank location. Arrangements are entrusted to and written condolences may be sent to: www.Adams-Perfect.com.
