Howard, Philip J., “Pop”, 63, of Millville, passed away on December 29, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 7, 1949, to John and Mary Howard, in Atlantic City, NJ. He leaves to cherish many memories with Elizabeth, nee Scannapieco, his wife of 44 years, and the love of his life. He worked for the City of Atlantic City for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. Philip proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp during Vietnam. He lived by the motto, “Once a Marine, always a Marine.” He was predeceased by his father, John Howard, and his in-laws, Frank and Eleanor Scannapieco. Philip is survived by his wife, Liz; his mother Mary; daughters, Kim (Butch) Wright, Jennifer (Scott) Munyon, and Philecia (Angie) Howard; his beloved best friends, his dogs, Cookie, Moe, and Max; grandchildren, Anthony (Karen) Wright, Jeff (Julia) Munyon, Steven Wright, Amanda (Nick) Munyon, Danielle Wright, and Josh Munyon; great-grandchild, Bella Wright; brothers John Howard, Richard (Mary) Howard, Edward Howard, Michael (Maria) Howard; sisters, Mary Clarke, and Jackie (Carl) Wright; brother in-laws, Frank (Rose) Scannapieco, James (Helen) Scannapieco, John (Dottie) Scannapieco; sister in-laws, Mary (Dan) Lawless, and Peggy (Ken) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
