Enrique “Oscar” Acosta, 73, of Egg Harbor Twp, passed away suddenly, on January 9, 2013. Born to Maria Acosta and Juan Rivera, on June 20, 1939, in Mayaguez, PR. He migrated to New York, where he became a successful business owner. Although he owned several businesses, his passion was carpentry. He also had a love of fishing, dominoes, and baseball. Soon after his retirement, Oscar moved to EHT, to be with his family. He is predeceased by his mother, Maria Acosta and son, Angel Acosta. Oscar is survived by his companion Gloria C. Lopez; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; his children, Luz Acosta, Luis Acosta, Carmen DeJesus, Enrique Acosta, Maribel Acosta, Eddy Acosta, David Acosta, Maritza Martinez, Miriam Acosta, and Marilyn Acosta; 33 loving grandchildren, and host of great-grandchildren. Until we meet again Capitan, we love you pa. A visitation will be held from 2:30pm to 3pm, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield, NJ 08225.
