Brenner, Joseph Francis 68 of Pleasantville passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Atlanticare Medical Center in Atlantic City from complications from Pneumonia. Joseph was born November 13, 1947 in Atlantic City, raised in the inlet section of Atlantic City and for a short time in Hialeah, FL. Joseph attended Holy Spirit Grammar School and High School. He was a member of the Painters Union having been a self employed painter for many years. Joseph resided for the last 35 years in Pleasantville. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, Son’s of the American Revolution, Inlet Social Club, and an avid card player mostly poker. He is predeceased by his parents; John William Brenner and Acilla (nee Risley), his brothers; John W. Jr., Martin E. and his twin brother, Michael. Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph (Dawn), his step son, Daniel White, his granddaughter, Brooke Kathleen, his brother, Benjamin F. and his sister, Acilla, Kathleen Critchley the mother of his son, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins, and the light of his life, his three dogs. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 10am til 11am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. A service will be held at 11am. Burial will follow at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor. Arrangments entrusted to and condolences may be left for the family at adams-perfect.com.
