Frank Glenn

Frank P. Glenn, III., passed away on his 88th birthday, on October 13, 2015. Frank was born on October 13, 1927, in Pleasantville, where he attended Pleasantville High School. Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952 during the Korean War, serving in Germany. Frank was a member of Plumbers #121 and Fitters #322 Union and retired after 40 years. He was a member of Bayview Gun Club, VFW, Pomona Golf Club and Spanish Lakes, Florida, Golf Club. He was also a charter member at Reformation Lutheran Church, served on the Church council, building and property committees. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf and was an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. Frank is preceded in death by his sisters, Eleanor Baldwin, Dorothy McGrath, Helen Conover; and his infant daughters, Jean, Jane and Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Marty, whom he married in 1954; his son Paul and his wife Joanne Glenn; granddaughters, Claire and Megan; many wonderful nieces and nephews; and sister in law, Mary Poff. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 9-11am at Reformation Lutheran Church, 633 S. New York Road, Galloway, NJ. A service will be held at 11am at the Church. Interment will be held at Atlantic County Veteran’s Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church; VFW of Absecon, 467 White Horse Pike, Absecon, NJ 08201 or to the charity of your choice.
